Air plants, or Tillandsias, are truly a unique plant. Air plants rely on a combination of air and water to grow, but aren’t as dependent on water as traditional plants. Unlike traditional plants, air plants also do not require soil to survive, simply place in a hanging glass globe or a top of a stylish planter and watch your little airplant flourish!
Provide bright indirect light (light filtered through a curtain, light bouncing off a wall, etc)
Watering style #1:
Mist 1-2 times a week (make sure water doesn't sit in the middle of your plant or it will rot. Consider drying upside down)
Watering style #2:
Soaking method - Fill up container with room temperature water, submerge entire plant for a few minutes, remove and dry upside down
Good air circulation (especially when drying)
Temperatures above freezing (though they prefer milder climate)
